Round Table with Kate Drane from Indiegogo

Kate Drane from Indiegogo held a roundtable session on 10th November on the subject of crowdfunding. Kate was very knowledgeable about perk based crowdfunding and shared three tips for a successful crowd-funding campaign:

1)  Make sure your pitch is aimed at a specific audience and make it clear and engaging for that audience.

2)  Ensure that you are very clear on the problem your product is solving, why you’re product is a great solution, AND what your “funders” will get out of giving you their money.

3)  Don’t forget to engage in proactive communication.  Revisit your campaign frequently and update it with levels of success and anything else that enlivens it.
